With more than 25 years of varied experience in the news business, Ray Saurez is not only a senior correspondent for the NewsHour on PBS, the former NPR host is also an author and essayist. A graduate from New York University, he also holds a master's degree in social sciences from the University of Chicago, where he studied urban affairs.
