Family caregivers provide an estimated $450 billion worth of uncompensated care to loved ones each year. But family caregiving comes at a cost. Caregivers experience high stress levels that can lead to physical and mental health problems. WPSU's Patty Satalia talks with Dr. Steven Zarit, a distinguished professor and head of the Department of Health and Family Studies at Penn State, about ways to reduce caregivers' stress and improve their health and well-being.
