The Gas Boom Comes to the Forests

A public opinion poll out this week found that 57 percent of Pennsylvanians oppose fracking for natural gas in state forests. But thousands of Marcellus shale wells will be drilled in the forests over the next decade. How will this drilling affect the wildlife that calls these woods home?
