Nov. 11 is day when, back in 1918, the Allies and the Germans signed the Armistice and the horrors of World War I finally came to an end. Sarah May Clarkson of Juniata College observed Veteran's Day this year by looking back to World War I and its aftermath, as portrayed in two different books.
